Ordering a Handle

Handles are optional and are not included standard with your Trailmaster Bareback Pad or Soft Saddle.

If you would like a handle installed on your new Trailmaster, please add this Handle to your cart along with your Bareback Pad or Soft Saddle.

Handle Color & Leather Wrap

The handle comes standard in black. If you would like the handle wrapped in leather to coordinate with your saddle, we are happy to do that. Please include the exact leather color name you would like in your order notes.

Important Installation & Care Information

This handle is installed using stainless steel conchos with posts and Chicago screws. Repeatedly moving the handle back and forth can gradually loosen the screws.

Please check the screws for tightness before every ride.

If you prefer a more permanent installation, you may request that we apply Loctite during assembly. This helps secure the screws and prevents them from loosening with normal use.

We do not recommend carrying your saddle by the handle. The handle is intended for use while riding; repeatedly lifting or carrying the saddle by it can put unnecessary stress on the hardware and cause it to loosen.
