This is our new Maverick Bareback Pad. It comes with western D ring for you to use your own latigo straps and cinch. The drop from the base of the withers to the bottom edge is 18". The felt on the bottom is 100% wool. The support core is 2 layers of sturdy material that help prevent pressure points from your seat bones. The hardware is stainless steel and the top is suede cowhide. 
 
The inner support core is intended to help prevent pressure points from your seat bones. If you want more support for your horse either add a good saddle pad under it or take a look at the Ranger Bareback Pad or the Ranger Soft Saddle, they have an extra 1/2" of seat padding.
